Riding The London Eye With Tinggly

5/28/2015Jake Ryan

When it comes to booking a travel gift most people head over to sites like Groupon or Viator, but theres a new travel experience site in town in the form of Tinggly.

Tinggly is a travel gift experience which they themselves describe as “The World's best experiences in one gift box” and I don’t think they’re wrong, with over 350 travel experiences in 80 countries and  2 years to use the voucher, Tinggly really knows how to please the traveller in you. From a full day experience on the Amazon River in Brazil to a Sigatoka River safari in the Fiji islands you’ll be sure to find something that suits you no matter where in the world you’re travelling to.
During my time in London, I recently visited the London Eye and London Eye 4D Experience as a guest of Tinggly and had one hell of a great day.

I started my day pretty early, arriving just after the Eye opened to avoid the queues…didn’t work! With the London Eye you will always face some sort of queue but don’t worry, the queues go down pretty quickly.

Entrance to the London Eye now includes a ticket to the 4D Experience, this is how you will start your London Eye visit. The 5 minute 4D experience cost the makers of the London Eye £5 million to make and the film flies you around London giving you a 4D experience of the city. Expect water bubbles, smoke and wind during your time in the fun 4D screening. The film quickly finishes and it’s now time to get in line for the ride on the London Eye.

I’ve already mentioned the queues, but as stated they quickly go down. Once in the pod, you’ll slowly make your way into the skies of London, looking down on the Houses or Parliament, Buckingham Palace and looking onto The Shard to name a few of the popular sights you’ll see during your time riding the London Eye.

It’s hard to describe the London Eye experience as it’s a much more visual trip, so how about you check out some of the images I took during my time riding the exceptional London Eye with Tinggly

If you're trying to think of the perfect gift for the travel lover in your life then a Tinggly gift box couldn't be more perfect. Start by checking out their website here and find the experience to suit your traveller friend by checking out the experiences map here
