Exploring Ngong Ping

Ngong Ping 360 is a tourist project in Hong Kong. Giving tourists the perfect opportunity to witness the Big Buddha, Ngong Ping starts tourists off with a 25 minute cable car ride from Tung Chung. With the option to take a Crystal Cabin (a glass bottom cable car) the experience is quite exceptional. Watch as you pass over the blue sea and green mountain tops before arriving at Ngong Ping Village.

In the village you will find some great souvenir stores and dining options. From the village you can walk to the famous Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery. The Big Buddha is a truly exceptional experience and quite the sight to behold.

After you have climbed the 268 steps to see the Big Buddha up close and marvelled at the Po Lin Monastery be sure to take the bus to TAI O fishing village. A traditional fishing village with stalls selling a variety of dried fish, seafood products and other seafood snacks.

The Ngong Ping 360 experience is definitely worth a day of your time when visiting Hong Kong and something not be missed.
