Staying At Cosmopolitan Hotel : Hong Kong

|| The Location ||
Set in the heart of Wan Chai, from the moment you arrive at the Cosmpolitan Hotel, you feel as though you are in right in the midst of vibrant Hong Kong. Only a 2 minute walk to shopping heaven Causeway Bay and a 10 minute ride to Central; you will not find a better location for your money. With towering skyscrapers as far as the eye can see, make sure to request a top floor room overlooking Happy Valley racecourse for some of the most stunning views of the city. Trust me, it is truly magical when the sun goes down and the lights come on.

|| The Rooms ||
I was lucky enough to be staying in the fantastic 'Grand Deluxe Course View Room'. Boasting a King sized bed, crystal lighting elements, ornate mother of pearl work station and sensational views of the adjacent Happy Valley Racecourse; it perfectly encapsulates East meets West in true decadent style.  With feather down duvets and black out curtains, it was one of the best nights sleeps I've had in a long while. Something that is greatly appreciated after a day spent in the bustling city!
The room also comes equipped with some great extras like the amazing massage shower, iPod dock, flat screen satellite TV, safe and iron & ironing board. The biggest bonus for me though, was definitely the Handy; A 3G enabled smartphone with complimentary free calls and Internet access for the duration of your stay.  I cannot stress enough how much of a lifesaver this (and Google maps) was for me. I don't know how I would have found my way around the city without it!
