On Location Tours : New York City

The variety of tours you can find in NYC is pretty vast it can sometimes be a little overwhelming when it comes to deciding which one to take.

With me being a pretty big movie buff, the choice of tour that seemed perfect to me was something that established New York Tour company On Location Tours had on offer.

On Location Tours lets you escape reality as you follow in your favourite celebrities footsteps around the city that never sleeps. Tour the city taking in the sites of all your favourite TV and Movies, head to all the famous hot spots from Sex and the City, check out the famous locations of TV show ‘Gossip Girl’, visit the sites of the Sopranos or go celebrity hunting on the TMZ tour.

For my time spent with On Location Tours I opted for the 3 hour TV and Movie sites tour, this seemed like the perfect choice for someone who spends way too much time watching movies, and with the tour guide being a huge movie buff himself (and an actor too) this made the tour even more enjoyable.

With sites such as the building from hit TV show Friends, the fire house from Ghostbusters and lesser known sites such as the home of Will Smith’s character in I Am Legend you’ll find something that interests every movie lover and with TV and Movie clips playing on the coach throughout the journey it helps put the buildings and sites in perspective.

Another great point of these coach tours are that they actually allow you to get off the coach, with 3 stops during the tour you’ll get to see your favourite sites up close.
