The High Roller : Las Vegas

The High Roller in Las Vegas stands tall above the strip at 550 feet with 28 air conditioned pods you’ll always find a space on board.

As you ascend above the Las Vegas skyline you’ll be able to watch the sun beam down on the Sin City strip in one direction and burning into the ground across the empty desert in the other. At night you can watch as the city comes alive with neon lights shining bright all across the city.

When I headed to the High Roller I arrived roughly 30 minutes after it opened and was met by a none existent line. I was excited at the thought of getting the pod to myself, but just as I was about to step into my pod one other couple arrived and jumped in too. However getting to ride with only one other couple was the perfect first experience to The High Roller.

The pods are large so even during busier times, I’m sure they’ll be spacious enough for everyone. They come with audio guides to whats going on around you.

I booked myself onto the normal rotation, however the Happy Hour rotation gives you 30 minutes of drinks with your own bartender on board. I’m pretty sure if I was going to visit at night, I’d pick for the Happy Hour ride.

The views across the city are stunning and this is still a fairly new way to see the city.

I’d recommend booking online before you visit, especially if you’re heading there during busier periods. I booked my tickets through Viator before I arrived which you then switch for your actual ticket at the ticket desk when you arrive.
