Our Stay at Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre, Net Zero & Next to Everything

Manchester trips are always a good idea, but they’re even better when you’ve got the perfect base. On our latest visit, we checked into the Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre, a Verified Net Zero Hotel (very cool) that ticked all the boxes: location, comfort, and friendly vibes.

Location

First off, can we talk about the location? If you’re heading to a gig, the AO Arena is practically on the doorstep. No stressing about taxis or long walks in the rain, just a quick stroll and you’re there. Which was great when I got a little too drunk at AO Arena and just needed to be in bed ASAP. 

Plus, Manchester Victoria station is right around the corner, which made getting in and out of the city a total breeze. Honestly, we couldn’t have picked a better spot.

Friendly Faces at Check-In

You know when check-in feels a bit stiff sometimes? Not here. The staff greeted us like old friends, warm, chatty, and genuinely helpful. It’s such a small thing, but it instantly put us in holiday mode.

Now, let’s talk about the Net Zero bit. The hotel isn’t just stylish and modern, it’s also doing its bit for the planet. Think eco-friendly touches and energy-efficient everything, without it feeling like you’re sacrificing comfort. It’s nice knowing you can enjoy your stay and feel a little smug about reducing your footprint at the same time.
