So I was lucky enough to receive a Freedom Japanese Market Snack box straight from Japan. 

This box was sent to me by Freedom Japanese Market, which is actually a small, multicultural family-run business based in rural Japan. They personally hand pick, taste test (best part of the job, right?), and pack all of the snacks themselves, no big warehouses, no middlemen. Meaning you really do get the best and most authentic Japanese snacks. 

Everything comes directly from Japan, which makes the experience feel really authentic.

Each month has a different theme inspired by Japanese seasons, holidays, and daily life in Japan. 

My box this month is themed around Hina Matsuri, and it’s filled with a fun mix of traditional Japanese snacks and modern favorites.

One thing I really appreciate is that shipping fees are clearly shown at checkout before you enter any personal info, and every package includes international tracking,  so you can follow your snacks on their trip around the world. 

They also make subscribing super simple, you get a reminder email before each renewal, and if you ever want to cancel, the process is quick and easy. Freedom Japanese Market really believes in earning your business every month, which I think says a lot about how much they care about their customers.

All in all, these boxes are excellent value for money. The amount of products you get are so vast, and as someone who loves Japan and recently visited, this really felt like I had travelled home with a suitcase of goodies. A really great way to bring Japan to you.
